This policy describes how alarmcrm ("alarmcrm," "we," "us") collects and uses information across our marketing website (alarmcrm.com) and the alarmcrm product (the "Service"). It applies to alarm dealers and their personnel who use the Service, and to homeowners whose information dealers process through the Service.
1. Who we are
alarmcrm is a SalesRokket product operated by alarmcrm, headquartered at 2145 Elkins Way Suite B, Brentwood, CA 94513. We sell software to alarm dealers; we do not contract directly with homeowners. When dealers use alarmcrm to process homeowner information, those dealers are the data controllers and alarmcrm acts as their processor.
2. Information we collect
From visitors to alarmcrm.com
- Information you submit through the "Book a demo" form: name, dealership, rep count, metro/zip, email, phone, and the free-text headache field.
- Standard server and analytics data: IP address, browser type, referrer, pages viewed, session duration. We use Vercel Analytics, which records aggregate traffic without persistent visitor identifiers.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.
From dealers using the Service
- Account data: business name, billing details, user names, roles, and contact information for each rep, sub-dealer, and admin.
- Operational data: leads, deals, contracts, work orders, inventory, commissions, payouts, settlement files.
- Communications metadata: outbound smart-dial call logs and voice-coach session records, when dealers enable those features.
From homeowners processed through the Service
- Identity and ability-to-pay signals collected through Kachyng KYX: name, address, government ID details, credit signals.
- Property and deal data: equipment ordered, install schedule, service tickets, payment history.
- Self-serve portal interactions when the homeowner uses the magic-link portal.
From sales reps
- Onboarding data including identity verification and criminal-background-check results, processed through Kachyng KYX with the dealer's authorization.
- Field activity: GPS pings during shifts, knock records, lead and deal records, voice-coach session records.
3. How we use information
- To operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- To respond to demo requests and contact dealers about their account.
- To enable the dealer's commission engine, install workflow, fraud signals, and customer portal.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use homeowner or rep data to train shared third-party AI models. Voice-coach transcripts process through Kachyng AGX under a data processing agreement that prohibits cross-customer training.
4. How we share information
We share information only with the following categories of recipients:
- Kachyng platform — the underlying identity (KYX), payments (CMX), and AI (AGX) infrastructure that alarmcrm runs on.
- Service providers — hosting (Vercel), email, analytics, customer support tools, all bound by data-processing agreements.
- Monitoring carriers such as ADT, when a dealer submits a deal for funding.
- Background-check providers for rep onboarding, on the dealer's instruction.
- Legal and safety — to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.
5. Your privacy choices
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of certain sharing. Submit a request by emailing privacy@alarmcrm.com. We will verify your identity before processing the request.
If you are a homeowner whose information sits inside a dealer's alarmcrm account, please also contact the dealer directly. They control the data and we will support their response.
6. Security
alarmcrm encrypts data in transit and at rest. Payments processing runs through Kachyng CMX, which maintains PCI DSS compliance. Identity verification runs through Kachyng KYX. We maintain access controls, logging, and review processes consistent with SOC 2 expectations. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected parties promptly if a breach occurs.
7. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as the dealer's account remains active, plus a reasonable period afterward to satisfy legal, tax, and audit obligations. Homeowner records tied to funded contracts may need to be retained longer to support ADT or carrier requirements.
8. Children
alarmcrm is a B2B product. It is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be flagged on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
